When planning your great #aussieroadtrip, make sure you stop in at Gemtree Caravan Park on the Plenty Highway, a great oasis in the vastness of East MacDonnell Ranges country. (Also only 7kms from the start of the Outdoor Gallery heading west to east) Alex runs Gemtree with his brother Cameron Chalmers, the Chalmers grew up on a property in the region.

Gemtree has wifi which will soon be greatly enhanced in the near future with the news the Federal Government announced yesterday the residents of Gemtree, Anmatjere will receive a new Telstra macro mobile site in the area.
