Bronwyn Payne was born Alcoota back in 1970 before they moving to Engawala where she is living now. Most of her family members are artists as well. Her aunty was a batik artist and it inspired Bronwyn to do art. She started to make art when she was just a young girl. She paints at her local Art Centre in the Community and sells it at the Todd Mall Market on Sundays. She does native seed jewellery making, carves music sticks and paints on canvas. Bronwyn is currently studying Visual Arts at Batchelor to learn more about art and different techniques. Her favourite is fabric design.
